These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Scripture Moment ("the Service"), operated by Scripture Moment ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Service

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use to help you follow a Bible reading plan. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Account

You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your Google account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Content you create

Notes and other content you write in the Service belong to you. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content back to you within the Service. We do not use your personal notes for any other purpose.

Bible text

Scripture Moment does not host or distribute Bible text. Reading references, passage labels, and Bible Gateway links are provided for your convenience. Bible Gateway is a third-party service operated independently. We are not responsible for its availability, content, or policies.

No guarantee of spiritual outcomes

Scripture Moment is a tool to support Bible reading. We make no promises about spiritual growth, changed behavior, or any outcome of using the Service. The Service does not replace pastoral care, church community, or personal prayer.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time without notice.

Intellectual property

The Service, including the app interface, reading plan data, prayer prompts, and marketing website, is owned by Scripture Moment. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scripture Moment is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction where Scripture Moment operates.
